The R27 runs past Paarden Eiland towards the Foreshore. Take the N1 for the CBD and Waterfront exits.
From Milnerton, the M5 to the Koeberg interchange and the N1 can be quicker when Marine Drive is jammed.
Strong summer wind blows sand across the road near the beachfront. Slow down when visibility drops.
Bus lanes run along parts of the R27. Stay out of them; they're enforced.
Traffic lights all the way through Table View and Milnerton. Queues build from about 6:30.
